Betty Heim Burke, 89, of Waveland, MS passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Pass Christian, MS.
She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Burke; son, Gregory J. Zimek; parents, Robert and Mary Heim and brother, Robert Heim.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Kim) Zimek; brother, Daniel (Donna) Heim; daughter-in-law, Beverly Zimek; sister-in-law, Anna Heim; six grandchildren, Peter (Jennifer) Zimek, Katie Averill, John Zimek, Heather (Jason) Nielsen, Christy (Duncan) Schafer and Nick (Kristen) Caldwell; thirteen great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kenzie and Tessa Averill, Olivia and Alexis Zimek, Adam and Noah Nielsen, Darion McElveen, Conner, Caldwell, Jeremiah, Olivia and Edwin Caldwell; three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
