It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of our beloved Anna "Sally" Elizabeth Jeanfreau, who left us on Friday, August 16, 2024, in Bay St. Louis, MS, at the age of 87. As we gather our thoughts and emotions during this difficult time, we remember Sally not only for the years she graced our lives but also for the immense love she shared with us all.
Sally cherished her family above all else, and her love was the foundation that held us together. She is survived by her loving children: Albert Jeanfreau (Eileen), Louis M. Jeanfreau (Cheryl), Tammy Larson (Stephen), Sally Capdepon (J.C. Lyons) and James P. Jeanfreau. These children were the pride and joy of her life, and she often spoke of how blessed she felt to have such a close-knit family. As a grandmother, she adored her nine grandchildren, who brought her endless joy, and her thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, who continued to light up her life with their laughter and innocence. Sally’s legacy of love will undoubtedly continue through the generations she embraced so dearly.
While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she led. Sally was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Arthur Jeanfreau Jr, whose partnership and companionship meant the world to her. She is also reunited with her parents, Patrick and Anna Flannigan Prendergast, in eternal peace.
Sally's spirit will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her warmth and compassion. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.
The Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Anna "Sally" Elizabeth Jeanfreau during this tragic time. We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support as we navigate this loss together. The family would like any contributions to be sent to American Heart Association in her honor. There will be a special Mass held in her honor at Our Lady of the Gulf Church on Saturday, August 31 2024, at 2:00pm.
